The guides
What's inside, who it's for, and how it fits with the Bible you already read.
What is a Covenant Path guide?
A Covenant Path guide is a warm, plain-English companion to one book of the Bible. It helps you understand what you're reading, why it matters, and how to live it out.
Every guide follows the same three parts:
- The Big Picture: Who wrote it, when, why, and where it fits in God's story.
- Walk Through It: A clear, chapter-by-chapter walk through what happens and what it means.
- Live It Out: Key verses, reflection questions and a simple prayer to carry it into your week.
You can read the first section of Ruth free to see how it feels.
Does a guide replace my Bible?
No. It walks beside your Bible. Each guide quotes the passages it explains, so you can read the Bible text and the explanation together.
It works just as well next to any translation you already love.
Which Bible translation do you use?
Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible (WEB), which is in the public domain. It's a readable modern English translation that anyone may quote freely.
Our guides work well alongside any translation, such as the King James Version, NIV, ESV or NLT.
Is it for beginners or for longtime Christians?
Both. If you're new to the Bible, you'll get the background you need in plain words, with no jargon.
If you've read the Bible for years, you'll find helpful history, fresh questions, and a steady way to read the books you may have skipped.
Are the guides tied to one church or denomination?
No. Covenant Path is non-denominational and written for Christians from many church backgrounds. We focus on what each book says, what it meant to its first readers, and how it fits the Bible's big story.
How long does each reading take?
Most readings take about 15 minutes. Short books, like Ruth or James, can be finished in a few weeks. Longer books are broken into clear parts, so you always know where you are.
Which books does each collection include?
- Bible Study Guides: all 66 books of the Bible, Genesis to Revelation
- Bible Made Simple Edition: all 66 books of the Bible, Genesis to Revelation
- The Bible in a Year: all 66 books of the Bible, Genesis to Revelation
- Women's Bible Study Journal: all 66 books of the Bible, Genesis to Revelation
- Beginner's Bible Study Guide: all 66 books of the Bible, Genesis to Revelation
- How to Understand the Bible: Ruth, Jonah, Philippians and James
Can I use the guides with a small group or my family?
Yes. The reflection questions at the end of each guide work well for groups and families.
You're welcome to print pages to share with a small group, class or family you lead, as long as the copies are free. See our terms of service for details.
Covenant Club & billing
How the optional membership works, what it costs, and how to cancel. No surprises.
What is Covenant Club?
Covenant Club is our optional membership. Members get:
- Member prices on every guide. Deep member discounts on every Covenant Path guide, for as long as you're a member.
- The Covenant Club Library. Member-only reading plans and studies, with new material added regularly.
- Read beautifully, anywhere. Your full library in a calm reader with progress tracking, bookmarks and printable pages.
- Priority support. Real people, quick answers. Members go to the front of the line.
Covenant Club: free for 14 days, then $25 every 30 days until you cancel. Cancel anytime online.
Do I have to join Covenant Club to buy a guide?
No. Every guide and collection can be bought once at the regular price, with no membership.
Covenant Club is only added if you choose it. It always shows as its own line in your cart, and you can remove it.
How does Covenant Club billing work?
Covenant Club is an optional membership that renews automatically. It starts with a free 14-day trial; after that you'll be charged $25 every 30 days until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your account page (Account → Membership) or by emailing support@covenantpath.com; cancelling during the trial means you're never charged, and cancelling later stops all future charges while you keep member access until the end of the period you've paid for. Member prices apply only while your membership is active. Guides you buy are yours to keep either way.
What will I be charged today if I join?
Today you pay only the member price of any guides in your order. For example, the Bible Study Guides is $18.95 for members.
Your first 14 days of Covenant Club are free. After that, $25.00 is charged every 30 days until you cancel.
You'll see the exact total, and a box to confirm the membership, before you pay.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Your first 14 days are free. After that, $25.00 is charged every 30 days until you cancel. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
How do I cancel my membership?
Go to Account → Membership and choose to cancel. It takes two clicks, and we email you a confirmation right away. No phone call needed.
You can also email us at support@covenantpath.com and we'll cancel it for you.
Cancel during your free 14-day trial and you're never charged for the membership. Cancel later and all future charges stop, while you keep member access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
If I cancel, do I keep my guides?
Yes. Every guide and collection you buy is yours to keep, whether or not you stay a member.
When your membership ends, member pricing on new purchases and the Covenant Club Library (member-only reading plans and studies) end too. You can rejoin anytime.
What happens if a renewal payment doesn't go through?
It may be retried automatically, and your Account page will show the problem. Member benefits may pause until the payment succeeds.
If the payment still can't be collected, your membership ends and no more charges are attempted. Your purchased guides stay in your library either way.
Need to update your card? Contact us and we'll help.
Can the membership price change?
If we ever change the Covenant Club price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, so you can decide whether to stay. A price change never applies to a period you've already paid for.
Will you remind me before I'm charged again?
Yes. We email you a reminder 3 days before every membership charge, including before your free 14-day trial ends, with the amount, the date, and a link to cancel if you'd like.
I'm already a member. Do member prices apply automatically?
Yes. When you're signed in with an active membership, member prices apply to everything in your cart, and you'll never be charged for a second membership.
Can I get a refund on a membership charge?
If you're charged for a membership period you didn't mean to pay for, email us during that same 30-day period and we'll refund it. Guides have their own 60-day money-back guarantee.
See our refund policy for details.
